The megapixel IP camera SN-IPR54/12DN/V K1680 employs 1/3" CMOS image sensor with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) which can operate without visible light (0 lx - ICR filter removed and IR illuminator switched on). The camera is equipped with 4-9 mm @ F1.4 varifocal lens allowing for the adjustment of the field of view to operational conditions. With Full HD resolution, the camera is able to capture nearly 5 times more pixels than best analog cameras.

Web access to a video stream from the camera performed via IE requires installation of ActiveX controls. Alternative browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome) do not need any plug-ins or patches - thanks to Flash technology the image is directly displayed by the respective browser.
Both at the maximum resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and at 640x368 pixels, the image can be captured at frame rate of 25 fps.
Apart from resolution and frame rate, the user can change a number of parameters:
- image quality,
- shutter speed,
- bitrate type (CBR or VBR),
- video stream parameters,
- frame type,
- max bitrate - besides the proposed values the user can set any value within 100-12000 kbps range.
The camera has been equipped with the following connectors/interfaces:
- RJ45 connector (Ethernet and PoE from a compatible PoE power supply),
- BNC - analog video output,
- audio IN and OUT,
- alarm input and output
- mini-SD slot.
Thanks to Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) the camera can simultaneously broadcast the video to multiple users via streaming servers.
